Term3D Story: |
Term3D is a software
dedicated to the rocket's 3D static structure visualization.
Its objects are connected sequentially and every stage
is composed of that stage and the subsequent. Every
command posted by the "guide computer" is
computed and translated to rocket's 3D graphic visualization.
Term3D is a PC with two Matrox
graphics boards: the first, a 2D Mga-Impression,
visualizes at 1600x1200x8 resolution; the second,
a Mga-Impression Ultra, visualizes all the
3D objects in three separate windows with different
tasks and/or point of view. To get commands from the
"guide computer", there is also an I/O board,
the AT-DIO-32F
by National Instruments with 32 digital I/O
lines and running under IRQ: the trasmission protocol
is a proprietary protocol, tiled to achieve the maximum
speed. |
